About Freelancer
As an environmentalist, my aim is to actively develop sustainable solutions to environmental challenges and to creat a positive impact in the environmental field. Striving to reduce environmental pollution to the lowest acceptable limits and to work in a safe and sustainable manner hence delivering quality services to customers and obtaining customer satisfaction.
I have developed professional skills for over 5 years in fields such as Environmental Consulting by carrying out Major Environmental and Social Impact Assessments ( ESIA) , environmental Monitoring by drafting and evaluating the execution of the Environmental and Social Management plans for several building and road construction companies , drafting and implementing Environmental Restoration plans for roads projects, carried out Environmental audits , produce well-structured waste management plans for developmental projects, carried out risk assessments , obtained skills on Environmental compliance for major projects and companies.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and a Professional Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. Obtained a NEBOSH International Diploma in Environmental Management with a Distinction and got the Best candidate Award for 2025. Hence have a very good knowledge in handling environmental aspects and proper management of the environment (Pollution prevention, noise, waste, sustainability, hazardous substances, Energy use, emission to the atmosphere and water emission).
I have worked for road construction companies in my home country Cameroon such as Societe BUNS SARL and MNO Vervat, worked together with the Ministry of the Environment for Legal Requirements for project executions and also worked with JMJ Africa a consulting firm with its branches in countries in Africa.
I also have a good knowledge on the effective implementation of Company's Environmental Management System (EMS) following ISO 14001; 2015 requirements and guidelines.
Proposing good sustainable practices for both building and road construction companies hence enable companies to carry out a cost benefit analysis and make good decisions when realizing their projects.
In addition, I have a good training on Microsoft Office (MS Word, excel, PowerPoint and publisher), very good typing skills and fluent in both English and French languages. Very good at translating most Environmental Reports and documentation from French to English hence providing the English versions of most French documents to clients thereby contributing in reducing language barrier when executing projects.
As concerns my work ethics, am team Oriented, good analytical thinking, good communication, enjoy continuous learning because it boost my professional know how, result oriented and can work under pressure.
I am a member of the NEBOSH ALUMNI, World Initiative Investment and GLOBAL HEART Cameroon SARL.

Education
The NEBOSH International Diploma in Environmental Management is a useful qualification for those aiming to develop and implement effective environmental management systems within organisations. It covers environmental management principles, multilateral treaties relating to environmental management and ways to prevent and control pollution. The syllabus is designed to provide learners with the relevant expertise wherever in the world they may be working, and to empower them to positively influence environmental management standards and practice at every organisational level.This international Environmental diploma NEBOSH training enabled me to understand the management of all environmental aspects for building ,construction and manaufacturing industries. This international course involved knowledge on the management of major environmental aspects such as ( waste management, emission to water, suatainability management, control of environmental noise, hazardous substances and Energy use). Also, obtained knowlwedge on how environmental legislation is enforced. This course also enabled the aquisition of skills on implementing an Environmental Management System in an Organisation following the ISO 14001; 2015 standards.
Ths Masters training enabled th quisition and practical training in fields such as Aforestation, valorisation of forst resources, Hydrobiology, water chemistry, Climate change, Agricultural activities and the environment, Natural Hazards, Geomorphology m soil chemistry , Waste management, soil fertility, Environmental aimpact assessments, Environmental Law, Labour Law, Biosatistics just to name a few. At the end of the course i carried out a Master these on the Restoration of Lateritic borrow pits which help me gain knowledge on good restoration practices which should be carried our especially by road construction companies.
After obtaining my Ordinary level and Advanced Level Certificates in 2006 and 2008 respectively, I went in for my Bachelors 'in Geography where i studied both physical and Human Geography. Sudied courses such as ; Biogeography, Hydrology, rural and urban geography, environmental studies, climatology, population geography, cartography. These courses permitted the aquisition of great understanding of the subject matter hence setting a stepping stone for my carrier as an environmental practitioner.

- Company Overview: Societe Buns SARL is a Building and road construction company with more than 1000 employees, close to 800 vehicles (heavy and light), and have constructed about 4000km of tarred roads and several buildings all over the national territory. - Ensuring company's compliance with Legal Environmental Regulations - Ensuring the effective implementation of the Company's Environmental - Management System according to ISO 14001 requirements and guidelines - Ensures the company works in compliance with the country's Environmental regulations in place • Developing sustainable strategies for building and road construction • Implementing measures for waste reduction, noise and water pollution reduction .
• Implementing Sustainable practices for managing energy and resources such as energy efficient lighting and water conservation. • Reducing waste and promoting recycling by sensitizing workers on good waste management practices (Reducing single-use plastics ) • Encourage the sourcing of locally produced food and products • Conducting regular environmental audits to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
